Flute Fantasy
Prof. Pushparaj is an accomplished flutist, presently based in Coimbatore. Music is the inner call for Pushparaj. He has performed on several occasions in corporate events, academic conferences, clubs, festivals, and elite wedding functions. Since childhood, Pushparaj has been passionate about music, especially the bamboo flute. He has been working as a faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore since the year 2000. His YouTube channel – “Prof. Pushparaj Flute Fantasy” – features a number of flute cover songs. He has his own music band called “Flute Fantasy”. He received ‘the Best Instrumental Artist (Tamil Nadu) Award’ at WIA (Wedding Industry Awards) in April 2023 at a function held at Courtyard by Marriott, Madurai.
(M-Cube (Music, Memory, Meditation))
M-Cube - A unique infotainment show that will take you through an incredible journey of Music, Memory, and Meditation. The show involves three phases. In the 1st phase, the audience gets drenched in the ecstasy of Flute-Music. In the next phase, the Memory phase, the audience would experience the power of concentration and the potential of the faculty of memory. 150 object names or abstract/foreign words are collected from the audience randomly, listed against serial numbers from 1 to 150, and projected onto a giant screen set on the stage. Also, a 100-digit number is collected from the audience. After that, Prof. Pushparaj recalls from memory the 150 words in ascending and descending order and instantly gives the word for a specific serial number, or the serial number for a particular word. Then he recalls the long 100-digit number from left to right and right to left. In the 3rd phase, he speaks about improving memory and concentration, highlighting meditation
Power of Concentration
Prof. Pushparaj is also a master of memory techniques and conducts shows and workshops on the ‘Power of Concentration’. He has conducted many stage shows in India and abroad on ‘Power of Concentration’. The show involves two phases. In the first phase, one hundred and fifty random object names or abstract/foreign words are collected from the audience randomly, listed against serial numbers from one to 150, and projected onto a giant screen set on the stage. In addition, a 100-digit long number is also collected from the audience, part by part, and then concatenated. After that, Prof. Pushparaj recalls from memory the 150 words in ascending and descending order, gives the word for a specific serial number, or gives the serial number for a specific word, instantly. Then he goes on to recall the long 100-digit number from left to right and then right to left. In the third phase, he concludes the show with a short speech on ways to develop memory and concentration, highlighting meditation.
